Hi, I am hoping someone with DOORS 9.2 experience can help with a question. We would like a Branch/Merge feature in DOORS so we can branch a requirement object to make modifications but suppress the draft changes from the main baseline sets until the change is formally approved and merged in. We need this feature to manage change proposals for what we call 'effective' requirements. Not all proposed changes will be approved between baseline set so we need a way to suppress the draft changes. It would be great if there was a simple add-in tool to provide this capability. Also, I am thinking of writing a script to read the attribute values from the last baseline and swap them with the draft changes during the baseline steps. Then, swap back the draft changes after baseline is created. The swapping would be done until a control attribute is set to merge the change into the main baseline sets. Does anyone else have a similar need? If yes, how did you provide the capabilities? Thanks, Joe JoeFazio - Thu Apr 07 10:50:06 EDT 2016 |
Re: Branch and Merge in DOORS 9.2? As stated it is unclear what you want to do. |
